About the Workshop
This residential international workshop explores the history of economic thought and provides students with exposure to contemporary research in the field. The workshop brings together participants and speakers for structured sessions as well as informal discussions over meals and coffee. The workshop focuses on contending paradigms in economics, regional economic thought including India, women in economic thought, and the economic thought of individuals such as Sraffa and Leontief.

Participation:
30 students were to be selected with the aim of creating a diverse group across region, gender and educational level. Selected participants were provided free food and accommodation, with travel expenses reimbursed up to Rs 5,000. A Rs 500 contribution was required to confirm participation and was allocated towards workshop stationery.
